Climbing, exploration, and visual storytelling are interwoven passions for me. In all my work, I aim to capture the beauty, passion, and intensity of adventure. I’ve been lucky enough to film on the summit of Mount Everest, in the desert of Chad, hanging from the walls of Yosemite, and many other incredible places. My 2015 film Meru, which I co-directed with my wife, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, won the Audience Choice Award at the Sundance Film Festival. My commercial clients have included The North Face, Chase, American Airlines, Citibank, Pirelli, Apple, National Geographic, Working Title, and RSA Films.
